This is a special one. Ava is a sweet little five-year-old who has been battling a rare brain tumor. She has endured various treatments for months, including chemotherapy and eventually a complicated day-long surgery in August where doctors believe they were able to remove the entire tumor from her central brain, truly a miracle. Ava drew the heart featured on this tumbler when she was recovering from her surgery in the pediatric ICU. She continues physical therapy with the goals of regaining the strength lost on her left side and walking unassisted.
Ava’s Army is comprised of her family, friends, her local community, and many, many more incredible humans across the world who, like Little Rebels, stand up and stand together to support this little girl and her family.
